USE OF HALAL CERTIFICATES AND HALAL MARK/LOGO

Halal Australia shall take reasonable precautions to control the use of its Halal Certificates and Halal Mark/Logo by clients.

Halal Australia will take action and deal with incorrect references to certification status or misleading use of certification documents, marks or audit reports by certified clients. The action may include requests for correction and corrective action, suspension, withdrawal of certification, publication of the transgression and if necessary legal action.

The Rules governing use of Halal Australia’s Halal Certificates and Halal Mark/Logo

USE OF HALAL AUSTRALIA CERTIFICATE

  • Halal Australia will issue an original Certificate/s of Halal Compliance after the Client has paid the invoice
  • The Client may display the Certificate/s of Halal Compliance for the purpose of advertising and promoting its onsite halal operations.
  • The Client may only use Photocopying of original certificate may be allowed for the purpose of advertising, marketing and promoting with the written consent of Halal Australia

 EXPIRED AND CANCELLED CERTIFICATES

  • The Client must not use the Certificate/s of Halal Compliance after the date of expiry or due to invalidity brought upon by cancellation.
  • Cancelled or Expired Halal Certificates must remove it from display.
  • All cancelled certificates must be promptly returned to the Company within 10 business days of cancellation.

USE OF THE TRADE MARKS

Trade Marks acknowledgements.

  • Client must not in any way represent that it is the owner of, or has any interest in, the Trade Marks.
  • Client should not use its certification in such a manner that would bring the certification body and / or system into disrepute and lose public trust.
  • Client at all times use its best endeavours to promote the value and validity of the Trade Mark and to protect the rights and reputation of Halal Australia in the Trade Mark;
  • The Trade Marks must only be used on approved products that have been Halal certified and manufactured during the certification period listed on the Certificate of Halal Compliance. 
  • The Client must submit copies of all product labels that it intends the Trade Mark to be used on to Halal Australia for prior approval. Halal Australia reserves the right to reject any product labels in its sole discretion that do not comply with Halal requirements.
